I hope you had a fantastic President's Day weekend. Today, President Obama signed the 787 billion dollar Economic Stimulus Plan. We hope that this new law will help revive America's economy. These are your assignments for today:
I. Language Arts
a. Read 30 minutes and record pages read.
b. Wordly Wise 18A & B. Write and describe words #1-7.
c. The Kid Who Became President: read Chapters 19-20. Complete reading questions for Chapters 17-20. Test on these Chapters on Thursday.
d. Writing: Final typed Tuesday story and colored picture due tomorrow.
II. Math
a. Mrs. Dela Cruz: copy problem and show all of your work. Page 533 #10-21 (all), #22 solve it as a 10-step.
III. Social Studies
a. Read textbook pages 68-69, 81-84, 87-89 and complete timeline and information for King Phillip's War and Bacon's Rebellion on the study guide. Due tomorrow. Test will be next week Tuesday.
IV. Other
a. Science drawing due tomorrow.
b. Test folder: have parent sign and return folder tomorrow.
c. Field Trip money and permission form due Thursday. (Evan, Samuel, Kawehi).
d. Begin collecting and turning in your Fun Run pledges. Due next week Friday.
