Hi Christian!
Congratulations again on you math test. Keep up the great work! :) Yes, you can write your essay on the study guide and some of it on the blank pages of the criteria sheet. If you need to review information about Christopher Columbus, Roanoke and Jamestown, review these chapters in your Social Studies textbook.
I will also give you more information tomorrow.
Sincerely,
Mrs. Dela Cruz

Hi Tony!
I got your message. Yes, I would like you to work on your essay. Tonight, focus on the lead (first paragraph) and on the first middle paragraph (second paragraph). In the lead you can explain briefly what happened after Christopher Columbus discovered America. Also include what happened to Roanoke colony and Jamestown. You can use your Social Studies book and I can give you another book to use that will help you.
For the first middle paragraph, explain what happened during King Phillip's War.
All of our laptops have a virus software that protects them. Bring your thumbdrive to school tomorrow and we can ask Mr. Pottenger to check it.
Sincerely,
Mrs. Dela Cruz

Tony,
Tomorrow I will call scholastic books and check on the status of your 2 books. Since it is on back order, they will probably give you a coupon for a free book. The coupon can used for towards the next book order.
Sincerely,
Mrs. Dela Cruz

Hi Vincent!
Yes, you may write more paragraphs for your essay. That would be great!
Also, please make sure you complete the homework assignments. For the math, make sure you show your work for the problems I listed on the blog. See you tomorrow!
Sincerely,
Mrs. Dela Cruz :)

Hi Taiana!
Thank you for your message. After you complete the information about the French and Indian war, I would like you to begin your essay. Just the lead and the first middle paragraph on King Phillips War. The reason I want you to work on this tonight is tomorrow I will be assigning the next 2 middle paragraphs and the conclusion.
On Friday, I will give you time to get peer feedback on your essay. On the weekend, you can make revisions and study for the exam. The exam will be next week Tuesday.
Sincerely,
Mrs. Dela Cruz

P.S. Please print your Tuesday story and bring it to school tomorrow.
