Dear Students,
Tonight is the final debate between Senator John McCain and Senator Barack Obama. You may gain more insights and information for your persuasive essay. I will give you details about the KidBiz writing contest tomorrow. These are your assignments:
I. Language Arts
a. Read for 30 mintues and write down pages read.
b. Wordly Wise: 7C & 7D. Write and describe words 7-12.
c. Persuasive essay: if you received my feedback today, work on revising your essay. Final typed essay will be due on Friday with cover page.
II. Math
a. Mrs. Dela Cruz's group: Monty's Chores 10-step problem. Make sure you label all numbers.
b. Mrs. Kaneshiro: problem that was written on the board.
III. Other
a. DARE: page 30, Lesson 5 due Friday.
b. Progressfolio pages -- cover page, table of contents, reading, writing and math pages due tomorrow.
c. Basketball players: signed permission form due tomorrow!

Dear ?,
Do not staple the progressfolio sheets together. You will be putting the cover page in the front of your portfolio. The Table of Contents will be the first page in your binder. The other pages will be glued to the different sections in your folder.
