Homework Assignments

I. Language Arts
a. Reading Record: read 30 minutes and write down pages read. Also, as you finish reading your books, write down information in your Literature Sharing folder pages 14-16. On page 16 you will write the story summary of one of the books you have read.

b. Read The Kid Who Ran for President: Chapters 15 & 16.

II. Math
a. King's Chessboard problem: answer the following questions in your composition book and on folder paper. Show all work and make a chart.

1. How many sacks of rice will the wise man get on the 32nd day?

2. What does this (sacks of rice) equal to in pounds?

3. How many tons is your answer to question #2? (Convert pounds of rice to tons)

III. Social Studies
a. Finish answering questions on Explorer project sheet. Include sources you used on Bibliography worksheet. Next week, you will be creating a Power point slide show.

IV. Other
a. Show parents communication folder.
b. Wear covered shoes for tomorrow's Kinki visitation activities.

Dear Nami,

Thank you for your question. If the explorer did not come across any problems you can write that on your sheet.

For the value of the exploration, did the explorer find what he/she was looking for? Share your findings.

You can also share what happened after the explorer discovered or explored a specific area.

Let me know who your explorer is and I can help you conduct more research tomorrow. :)

Mrs Dela Cruz,
Naomi is having problems answering her Math questions because she doesnt know how much each sack of rice weighs. Should she have that information somewhere in her notes or was she supposed to know. I'm sorry its after 7:30pm, but she just told me now that she needed help and didnt have the information.
