Homework Assignments

Dear Students,
Welcome back to school! I hope you are well rested and ready for an exciting Fourth Quarter. I have alot of pictures that I will be sharing with you from our East Coast historic trip. You will see your actual buildings that you created for your Social Studies project. Next week, you will begin taking the HSA test for reading. These are your assignments:

I. Language Arts
a. Read fantasy book for 30 minutes and record pages read. Tomorrow I will be taking you to the library. Bring books to school.
b. Kid Biz: read 3 news articles and record title and first score.
c. Literature Sharing: complete pages 34-36 (top of 36). Due Wednesday.

II. Math
a. Mrs. D.C.: complete study guide. Review for tomorrow's exam on Geometry and the coordinate plane.
b. Mrs. K: check your planner or call homework buddy.

III. Other
a. Math Self-Assessment: complete form and mark evidence. Yellow post-its for strengths and blue, pink or green post-its for areas to improve on. Due tomorrow.
b. East Coast students:
1) Read Social Studies textbook Chapter 7 Lesson #1 and fill out cause and effect handout. (Due tomorrow).
2) Read Chapter 7 Lessons #2 and #3 and fill out cause and effect handout. (Due Wednesday).
c. Study for Wednesday's Japanese Quiz.
