Homework Assignments

Dear Students,
If you are participating in secret santa, please ask your parents how you can earn the money $7-$10 to purchase a gift. Find out what chores you can do around your home. When you purchase a gift, think about the person's interests. Remember, no gift cards or food items. Secret Santa gift due Tuesday December 15th. Money for pizza party $3.00 due Monday December 14th. :)

Also, the Reach for Books fundraiser deadline was extended to next week Wednesday. If you did not have a chance to participate, you still can. Please complete the reading log and turn in collected pledges.

These are your assignments. Have a wonderful weekend!

I. Language Arts
a. Read for 30 minutes and record pages read. Have parents initial total pages read and sign homework folder for week #8. We will be going to library on Monday so you can borrow a Myths and Legends book.
b. Wordly Wise: complete 13E #1-15. Write words #1-15 5x each. Test on Monday.

II. Math
a. Mrs. Dela Cruz: 1) Complete steps 5-8 in Muffin 10-Step problem. 2) Study for Monday's Retest on Multiplying Fractions -- Brendan, Sean, Megan, Danika, Hinano and Noah.
b. Mrs. K: workbook page 96 on folder paper.

III. Social Studies
a. Begin studying for next week Thursday's test on Slavery and Triangular Trade. Use your study guide.

IV. Other
a. Show parents communication folder. Go over the information on the parent letter regarding Pizza party and secret santa gift.
b. Japanese: finish worksheet kotowaza (page 1 and 2) and study for Quiz #14 greeting expressions chart (page 1 #1-7 only). Study meaning and Hiragana due next week Wednesday.
