Tomorrow is our field trip to Kaimuki High School for Charlie Miyashiro Day. Please wear your Hokulani t-shirt (or a blue shirt) and covered shoes. Bring home lunch and a bottle of water. You may also want to bring a jacket since the weather has been cold. For those participating in the swimming event, please wear your swimsuit underneath your clothing and bring a towel. The Circle's Measure -- measure the middle and circle around. Divide so a number can be found. Every circle, great and small -- The number is the same for all. It's also the dose, so be clever, or a dragon he will stay . . . forever.

*Divide the length around each item by the inches across the middle. Show all work.
Problems: a. Wheel: measured 154 inches around, 49 inches across the middle of the wheel.
b. Onion Slice: measured 11 inches around, 3 1/2 inches across.
