Thank you for participating in the re-dedication ceremony of our Peace Garden. If you did not have your Secret Santa and Christmas party letter signed by your parents, please do so tonight. We are picking names tomorrow. Don't forget to bring in Christmas wrapping paper and one gift tag label. We will be wrapping your desk tops this week. These are your assignments for today.
I. Language Arts
a. Reading Record: read 30 minutes and write pages down. You should be reading a myth or legend book.
b. Reading: complete Step #2 writing your S-E-E response on the Explicit and Implied Handout.
II. Math
a. Mrs. Dela Cruz: homework corrections, textbook page 43 #3-7 (odd), page 44 #13-23 (odd).
b. Mrs. Kaneshiro: page 50 problem #40 solve as a 10-step problem. Page 50 #26-30 (all).
III. Social Studies
a. Study Guide: complete lead and first 2 middle paragraphs due tomorrow. Use the criteria sheet to make sure you wrote all of the required information. I will go over Triangular trade tomorrow. You will complete the third paragraph and conclusion tomorrow.
IV. Other
a. DARE: use peer assessment and the criteria sheet to make revisions to your essay. Proofread and make spelling and punctuation corrections.
b. Letter to Penpal: write letter and answer questions asked by penpal. You can also ask school and hobby related questions. (Due Thursday)
c. Japanese emotion handout.

For the Social Studies essay, you only have to finish the lead and the first 2 middle paragraphs by tomorrow. I want to give you more information about the Triangular Trade before your write the third middle paragraph. Originally, the entire essay was due tomorrow, but I didn't have time today to give you the additional information. :)
