a. Reading record: read 30 minutes daily and record pages read. You will have parents initial 3 weeks -- Week #10 from the 2nd Quarter Reading Record, and Week #1 and Week #2 on the 3rd Quarter Reading Record (green color). For the homework folder, have parents sign week #10 for 2nd Quarter.
b. Literature sharing: read aloud your favorite parts of the Myths and Legends book to your parent. Have your parent complete the bottom of page 28. Due Tuesday January 5th.
c. Kid Biz: read 4 news articles and record the first score. Record all results on your green Kid Biz paper. Due Tuesday January 5th. Take the Kid Biz challenge and enter their contest. Information is on the flyer is in your communication folder.

On your Furlough Friday, work on your acrostic poems. Think about how these furloughs have been affecting you. Share your thoughts about this issue as you complete Steps #2 and #3 on your poem handout. :) These are your assignments for today:

If you have an incomplete assignment, you will not have a star stamp. You need to have parents sign the folder. I will stamp your folder after the assignment is completed. :)

III. Social Studies
a. Study guide: under the triangular trade diagram, explain how the triangular trade works. Explain where the new england ships stopped and what items were traded at each stop. Test next week Thursday December 10th.

a. Read 30 minutes and record pages read.
b. Wordly Wise 13A & B. Write and describe words #1-7.
c. Explicit and Implied Retest: Cody, Kayce, Megan and Kathleen -- study for tomorrow's retest on Koi fish.
d. Writing: finish writing the descriptions of the food item using your 5 senses. Create a descriptive title for the food item. Due tomorrow.
II. Math
a. Mrs. D.C.: 1) make corrections to multiplying fractions handout; 2) complete study guide and study for tomorrow's exam.
